PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Madefire Studios, 2012 – 2021
Writer/Creator (2018 – 2021)
  • Series writer on Mono: The Dark Hearts of Men, The Golem of New York , Hood , FIN, and Darrow.
  • created narrative concepts, series outlines, and pitch documents for Madefire originals.
  • Developed new IPs for motion comic and film projects.

Editor (2016 – 2020)
  • Fostered a revolving stable of artists, writers, and comic creators under my supervision.
  • Managed artist and writer relationships and maintained series schedules.
  • Oversaw creative development and production for Madefire’s original IP and external print and digital media partnerships with 20th Century Fox, Cartoon Network, Spotify, Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, TNT, SYFY/NBC, Apple, and more.
  • Directed voice cast recording sessions for numerous motion comic productions.
  • Provided editorial and quality assurance checks during all stages of development.

Production Manager (2014 – 2019)
  • Maintained a thriving production staff of 30+ animators, illustrators, storyboard artists, sound designers, and musicians.
  • Acted as a liaison between the Production and Editorial departments while providing updated release schedules and allocating resources between the two.
  • Produced motion comic adaptions for Marvel Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, DC Comics, TNT, Boom! Studios, IDW, and Disney Publishing intellectual properties.
  • Led research and development efforts into improving production process efficiency, creative design pipelines, quality assurance, and digital publishing techniques. 

Animation Lead (2012 – 2014)
  • Managed remote animation teams and maintained workflow records and reports.
  • Trained incoming animators in the use of Madefire’s proprietary Motion Book software.
  • Provided animation for Madefire originals and third-party titles, including Transformers, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Star Trek, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Clive Barker’s Next Testament, Locke & Key, Hellboy in Hell, and more.

  • Illustrator for independent game developers Hellbored Entertainment and Zedwars.
  • Ranked as a Top Ten Semi-finalist in Platinum Studio’s Comic Book Challenge 2007 for the comic book series The Strange and Many Eyes of Dr. LeFaux.
  • Creator and Cover Artist of the motion comic strip series Challenge of the Cyberwülf.

TimeGate Studios, 2007 - 2008
Lead Writer – Dirty Harry: The Game (Unreleased)
  • Updated the classic Dirty Harry film franchise for a modern gaming audience via increased cast diversity and awareness of socially relevant themes and scenarios.
  • Penned all written concepts, game scripts, marketing blurbs, dialogue prompts, character wikis, and develop documents for publisher approval and focus group testing.
  • Worked heavily with the design team on level pacing, event scripting, and debugging dialogue triggers and callout frequency.
